ABOUT HARRELL RANCH
Kent & Sandy Harrell have been in the Longhorn business for over 30 years. Three years before that they started ranching with a herd of registered Angus. They went to the Tulsa County Fair and fell in love with Longhorns and met up with Carrie Hill (TriW Ranch) and John T. Baker (Sunrise Ranch) and started their first longhorn herd. Their kids and ranch hands were involved in the show circuit for many years. After filling up the ranch with more trophies and ribbons than they knew what to do with, they sold most of that herd and started over.
They have gotten a reputation in the business as breeding excellent herd sires…. Casino HR (Butler Bull); Big Red HR; Rowdy HR; Warlock HR, Patriot HR and Rebel HR to name a few. These animals have either already made a name for themselves or are in the process of doing so.
RECENT MILESTONES
May 2021
HARRELL RANCH along with WHITLOCK LONGHORNS and BENTWOOD RANCH became the General Partners of REBEL HR. They formed a Syndicate of 15 investors for exclusive sale of REBEL HR semen.
May 2021
HARRELL RANCH partnered with Scott & Amelia Picker in Oregon on WARLOCK HR. He won 1st place in his class at 2019 TLBAA Horn Showcase as well as earning the Superior Award. He is currently 90” TTT and very colorful.
October 2020
HARRELL RANCH partners with WHITLOCK LONGHORNS to purchase DEL CHARRO (88.5” TTT, 93” TH) from Warren & Cathy Dorathy (Caballo Bravo Longhorns). He is being bred to some of REBEL HR heifers as well as other cows they own.
October 2020
Sold PATRIOT HR (REBEL HR x SOUTHERN AMBER) 89.5” TTT 100.5” TH to Neal & Andrea Siller in California. He will be passing on REBEL genetics on the West Coast.
June 2020
HARRELL RANCH purchased PACIFIC COWBOY 40 (95.25” TTT 112” TH) from Alex Dees & Nick Noyes. They are breeding him to many of their REBEL HR heifers and looking forward to the outcome this fall.
March 2019
HARRELL RANCH purchased SHY IRON (92” TTT from Terry & Tammy King and is being bred to REBEL HR.
